The Lonesome Heroes have been dancing the line between indie, country, and Americana sounds for two decades in Austin, Texas. Seven albums in, 2026 finds the Heroes at home working on their eighth studio record (their fifth release in five years) - pairing up once more with producer Ryan Joseph (White Denim, Rayland Baxter, Leon Bridges). Previous trips to 5th Street Studio with Joseph have resulted in a quick succession of Heroes albums, with 2024’s Almost Aluminum and 2023’s Seasons Change.

As a live band, the Heroes continue to rack up the miles across the globe in all sorts of configurations. And despite the name, the Heroes are seldom lonesome in this venture - having shared the stage with  Sierra FerrellBahamasNick ShouldersSam DooresRyley WalkerJohn R Miller, Lily Hiat, Melissa Carper and Brennen Leigh. They have also taken the stage at Red Ants Pants FestivalSXSW, Brooklyn Americana FestivalDashville Skyline (Australia), and residencies at venerable Austin venues such as Hole In The Wall
